Free Hug Day

Did you know that The International Free Hug Day is celebrated every year on the first Saturday in July. This year it will be celebrated on July 3. Free Hug Day is a day when people in public places offer hugs to strangers. People embrace themselves as a random act of kindness to make others feel better.

The day is celebrated in all countries of the world, and in Canada, people who do not know each other can do the same to others. In the US, it’s a day for foreigners to greet each other too.
